We announce two new acquisitions that strengthens our position in the European liquid gas market.
We have agreed to acquire FLAGA GmbH, a leading distributor of liquid gas in Austria. Based in Vienna and employing around 90 people, FLAGA delivers about 45 million litres of liquid gas each year. With over 15,000 loyal customers—many of whom have been with FLAGA for more than 15 years—this acquisition is a natural strategic fit for DCC. FLAGA’s current leadership team will remain in place.
This move marks DCC’s first step into the Austrian liquid gas market, where we already have a presence in liquid fuels and energy services. The acquisition is valued at €55 million (£47.5 million) and is expected to be completed by the end of our financial year, pending regulatory approval.
In a separate deal completed in October 2025, DCC also acquired the AvantiGas cylinder business in the UK, further strengthening our position in the UK market, where we already have a leadership position in liquid gas. Both acquisitions have been acquired from UGI International, LLC.
DCC has been active in the liquid gas sector for nearly 50 years and is now a market leader in six countries. Liquid gas is a key part of our growth strategy, offering a lower-carbon energy solution and makes up a significant portion of our Energy Solutions profits.
