Will I get feedback on my application?
You will receive a notification as to the success of your application. If you haven’t heard from us, we are still considering your application. If your application is not successful in progressing to the next stage, you will receive an email from us notifying you. Due to the high volume of applications we receive, we unfortunately cannot provide individual feedback. However, if you do progress to the in-person assessment centre stage you will be provided with a tailored feedback report on your performance at the assessment centre.
What if I require additional support in the recruitment process related to disability or a medical related condition?
We can accommodate for all candidates that apply to any of our roles.
When applying for a role with us, you will be asked whether you require any additional assistance throughout the application process. If you state yes, we will be in touch to discuss how we can best support you throughout this process. If you have any questions, please email us at [email protected] or call us during office hours on +44 (0) 1635 279 817.
Candidate eligibility
What are the minimum requirements for an application?
You must have at least a 2:1 undergraduate degree or a 2:2 undergraduate degree with a merit in a masters (or equivalent).
You also need to have the right to work in the UK and/or the European Union/European Economic Area and must be internationally mobile.
If I don’t meet the minimum entry requirements, can I still apply?
Unfortunately we can only consider applications from people who meet our minimum requirements.
What type of candidates are you looking for?
We’re looking for people who are ambitious and passionate. You should be self-aware, resilient, adaptable and a quick learner. As part of a team, you’ll be working closely with others, so collaboration and communication are also key.
We’re interested in graduates with degrees in every discipline, particularly those with diverse experiences. We have many exciting digital projects across the DCC Group so we’d love to hear from candidates with digital experience.
If you enjoy problem solving, seeing a project through from concept to reality, then this is the programme for you.
I graduated a few years ago. Can I still apply?
Yes, we welcome people of all backgrounds. As long as you meet our minimum entry requirements, you can apply.
Does DCC provide sponsorship for international visas?
We will provide visa sponsorship for UK graduates to work in the EEA and for EEA graduates to work in the UK. However, we are unfortunately unable to provide financial sponsorship to non-EEA/non-UK applicants trying to obtain the right to work in any of DCC’s operating countries in the EEA and/or the UK.
Can I reapply after failing online tests or other assessment stages?
No. Unfortunately, you can only make one application per intake, but you can reapply the following year.
How can I let you know if I have extenuating circumstances?
Please email us at [email protected] or call us during office hours on +44 (0) 1635 279 817.
About the programme
When does the programme begin?
The programme starts at the beginning of September each year.
Will I meet other graduates before I start the programme?
Yes. Before you begin your first placement, you will attend an induction programme in Dublin where you will be able to meet all the other graduates in your cohort. You are also likely to meet some of them at the assessment centre, where there will be opportunities for you to mix with the other final candidates.
Where will I be based while I’m on the programme?
This is an international programme, so you must be prepared to relocate to any of our businesses across any of our operating countries.
What is DCC’s approach to flexible working?
Flexible working varies across business areas and is different for each business and each role.
If I have any other questions, how can I contact you?
