DCC’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance is regularly assessed by external rating agencies. We actively participate in the ratings and see them as an opportunity to communicate transparently about our sustainability progress.
CDP scores measure our understanding and management of our climate and environmental impacts across key environmental issues.
By scoring an A, we’ve demonstrated environmental transparency and leadership. We’ve comprehensively evidenced our climate and environmental dependencies, risks, impacts and opportunities – and taken actions to align with an Earth-positive future.
We’re proud to have earned a place on the CDP A List for demonstrating best practice.
MSCI provides in-depth research, ratings and analysis of the environmental, social and governance-related (ESG) business practices of thousands of companies worldwide.
DCC retains its MSCI “AAA” ESG rating. Additionally, we achieved huge improvement in our MSCI implied temperature rise. We made improvements across several areas. Within Social, our group wide employee engagement programme was recognised. In Governance, we fall into the highest scoring range relative to our peers, reflecting governance practices that are well aligned with investor interests.

In 2026 Sustainalytics assessed DCC’s ESG risk as medium with a score of 20.4. Sustainalytics’ ESG Risk Ratings measure a company’s exposure to ESG risks and the degree to which it manages those risks. Analysts highlighted DCC is noted for its strong corporate governance performance.
