DCC Energy agrees to acquire WIRSOL Roof Solutions (“WIRSOL”) to put cleaner energy in the power of customers in Germany.
WIRSOL is a provider of photovoltaic (PV) and battery storage systems with more than 20 years of experience in the field of renewable energies. Based in Waghäusel, Germany, the company employs 120 people and has planned and installed over 16,000 solar systems for commercial and private customers throughout Germany since 2003 with a total output of 1,500 MWp. WIRSOL saves its customers over 180,000 tonnes of CO2e a year.
As a high-quality founder-owned business, it’s a fantastic addition to our Energy Management Services (EMS) network in Europe. We’ll now capitalise on EMS opportunities in the German energy market—the largest on the continent.
